Stationery Tools Word Search

Gather the names of everyday objects used to write, mark, fasten, and revise work on paper. The clues distinguish a consumable item from the tool that uses it, such as a staple and a stapler. Generic object descriptions keep the pack separate from a shopping list, brand comparison, classroom promise, or instructions for handling a cutting edge. This three-page PDF contains an eighteen-by-eighteen letter grid with a twelve-word bank, a companion definition worksheet, and a separate marked-grid solution.

Make it work on your printer.

Find and mark the twelve listed words in the letter grid. Use the matching definition clues to check each term. Complete the companion clue worksheet, then compare your results with the answer key. Words may run horizontally, vertically or diagonally, forwards or backwards. Page 1 is the puzzle, page 2 the clues, and page 3 the grid solution. The clue answers follow the word-bank order.

Select the file matching the paper loaded in your printer. Choose portrait orientation and actual size (100%). If your printer clips the edge, use its fit-to-page setting and check the print preview first. Print a single page before making several copies.

For a multipage pack, select the page range you need. Page numbers appear in the lower right of every sheet.
